Turkey is totally a beautiful country with various natural happenings and formations every side and here you have the opportunity to have an experience each day that you have never had before.

The journey starts with the meeting your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel. Today you will be amazed to witness a millennia and a half standing Hagia Sophia Museum, that was once the center of the Orthodox Christendom until the conquest of the city in 1453 and then prided Grand Mosque of the Ottoman Empire until its conversion to the current day status of museum in the first years of the republican period. Lunch in the old city in a traditional Turkish restaurant and enjoy the fine Anatolian cuisine. Visit the Roman underground building of Basilica Cistern, a water storage facility that was built concurrently with Hagia Sophia during the rule of the Emperor Justinian.

Our guide will take you to the famous Blue Mosque, fascinating example of the classical period of Ottoman architecture, adorned with over twenty one thousands of Nicaean tiles on the walls, dominantly in blue color, which the name of the mosque derives from.

Continue the day listening to legendary stories of the hippodrome area, in which the Emperor watched the horse cart racing games with the noblemen since the foundation of the city, admiring even more monuments of antiquity from the ancient Greece and Egypt such as Serpent Column and Theodosius Column, once architectural elements of the pagan temples and pharaonic monuments of the archaic world.

Next day, your local tour guide will take you to Uchisar Castle which is the highest point in the region. You will have the best panoramic view of the area and then walk in the old town among the old stone houses and hotels. Then you will stop by the Pigeon Valley to see the pigeons and pigeon houses. This is situated just between Uchisar and Goreme towns giving you a fabulous scenery of the land.
Goreme, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1985, is the highlight of the day. Goreme Open Air Museum to see the rock-cut churches having frescoes and paintings dating to 10th to 13th centuries. Next stop is Esentepe with a spectacular view over Goreme, valleys and rock formations. Afternoon, visit to Ortahisar with natural castle, enjoy the view of the old town with a different settlement pattern.

Then you will drive to Red Valley (Kızılcukur) where you will have magnificent panoramic view of the area with colorful valleys. Cappadocia is situated in a magical land and the longest river of Turkey Red River (Kizilirmak) with special minerals flows within the districts of Avanos especially. So, we would like to give the opportunity to you to experience also the local and traditional arts of this special place, which is pottery. Before we complete our day and good bye to you, we take you to a very local atelier of pottery with possibly kick-wheel as in the old days and even to trying this old art.

The last day you take your belongings from the hotel with you and get ready for another memorable excursion – Topkapi Palace with Treasury and Harem sections, which used to be the residence of the Ottoman Sultans for years. A palace that served Ottoman royal family for over 400 years and hosting the holy relics of the prophets of the Abrahamic religions. Finally, you will be transfered to Istanbul Airport for taking your memories back home.
