You will have the best panoramic view of the area in Uchisar Castle, which is the highest point in the region and then walk in the old town among the old stone houses and hotels. Then you will stop by the Pigeon Valley to see the pigeons and pigeon houses. Next stop is Esentepe with a spectacular view over Goreme, valleys and rock formations. Then visit to Goreme Open Air Museum to see the rock-cut churches having frescoes and paintings dating to 10th to 13th centuries. Goreme, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1985, is the highlight of the day. Afternoon, visit to Ortahisar with natural castle, enjoy the view of the old town with a different settlement pattern. Then you will drive to Red Valley (Kizilcukur) where you will have magnificent panoramic view of the area with colorful valleys.

Next day, another experience is waitng for you! Kaymakli Underground City was used as shelter by different people throughout the ages. Next we visit Avanos where is the center of terra-cotta work of art since 3000 B.C. Turkey’s longest river Kizilirmak (The Red River) has been flowing through the district of Avanos bringing special minerals that the natives used to make tools jars pots for daily use which are exhibited at various museums of Turkey. One of the highlight attractions in Cappadocia is a visit to a local atelier where you can watch the local masters use the kick wheel to make potteries. Pasabagi is the richest area of this magical world where you can see the best examples of interesting natural formations known as fairy chimneys. This is where you can take the most striking pictures of this magical panaroma. Zelve Open Air Museum was one of the largest religious centers of Christianity. This mrvelous place has very impressive landscape with its natural formations and old rock-cut churches.

Third day, will be different then the two others particularly in the way that you will see the beautiful old villages of this terrain. Ihlara Canyon or “Peristrema” has been formed at the outskirts of volcanic Hasandag and Golludag. The volcanic eruptions of those mountains covered the terrain with layers of tuff and lava. It has been honey combed with many rock-cut dwellings and churches. We will walk down the valley near Ihlara Village and walk through the Canyon 3,5 kms by the Melendiz Stream. After arriving Belisirma Village we will enjoy having lunch by the stream. Next, we will visit Selime Village with cave houses and monasteries. Then, continue to Guzelyurt “Beautiful Country” in Turkish, which used to be a beautiful old Greek town Called Karballa. Walking down in the Monastery Valley, this is where we will visit the Big Church Mosque “ Büyük Cami Kilise” which was originally an old Byzantine Church used by the old local Greeks here, later converted to a mosque. We will also discover the old cave dwellings around having some free time to feel the atmosphere here, taking some good pictures and relaxing for some good time.
