Today your guide will meet you to take you to Priene first, which is one of the only Hellenistic cities in Anatolia. Once located by the sea, now is a city located on a hill where you will be amazed to see ancient Hippodamic city plan and how it perfectly worked here, which has been an example to most of the modern Metropolitan cities of today.

The location has saved the ancient city. This is where once Alexander the Great had sat down and watched Miletos from here, on your visit you will have time to sit and watch the one of the most fertile plains of Turkey. After running around 580 km this is the location where the River Meander slows very down before it meets with the Aegean Sea.

Why not to have a break in an old Greek Village "Doganbey" which today is still very quiet village. After walking around the village we would like to take you for lunch on the beach at Greek border to Turkey.

Miletos You probably heard the name before, either because of Isidoros who was one of the Architects of Hagia Sophia or Thales, one of the very famous Philosophers of the ancient world or may be because of St. Paul. If you have not met Miletos before, today you will be very happy to meet one of the most attractive cities of its time. Not much to see but just enough to give you an idea of what was going on in here. Do not forget to take a place in the theater like the locals did, your guide will show you who were sitting on these seats , which some of the pieces are located above used by the Turks to built the Fortress.

Roman Bath in Miletos is a very good example of its time. Most probably they have visited here before they start to walk on the Sacred Road between Miletos and The Temple of Apollon in Didyma.

Temple of Apollon – Didyma It was going to be one of the wonders of the world, if it could have had been finished. Of course there is a well in the front and back gardens and around the Temple too.

Wells were important, this was where the oracle had been told to the ears of the priest of the Temple. Pilgrims from all around came here everybody had hope, those who had money were lucky if not have a look at the steps of the Temple.
