Philosophy and Miletus
We mentioned that Miletus was the place where philosophy and rational thought laid the foundation. According to Aristotle, there are two preconditions for the development of philosophy. The first of these is that the person who will make philosophy does not have a sense of materialism; the second is that the person has a real sense of Wonder. In Miletus, these two conditions came together.
